Owned and operated by Jason & Erin Boily,  Iron Head Bison Ranch is located 20 minutes east of Winnipeg off the #1 Highway near Richer, Manitoba, Canada.

 

Iron Head Bison Ranch is an Indigenous Metis family-owned business started by a husband-and-wife team. Jason and Erin Boily and their three girls Jayda, Jordyn, and Gabrielle.

Jason was raised in the small French Metis community of La Broquerie, MB. Early in his career, Jason played professional hockey. With a young growing family, he shifted focus and moved on to the Oil and Gas Industry, where he is currently a Completions superintendent.

Erin was raised in the small Metis community of San Clara, MB. With a strong focus on education, Erin graduated from the University of Manitoba with an MSW in Social Work specializing in health and wellness. After graduation, Erin began her journey into fitness competitions, in which she quickly earned provincial and national titles.

In 2017, Jason and Erin purchased bare family homestead land and began their dream of what is now Iron Head Bison Ranch. Together with the help of their children, family members, friends, and bison ranch mentors, they have brought their vision of starting a bison farm to life.
